Child Development Grant Programme
This is a project to improve the knowledge and practice of balanced diet of pregnant mothers and children from 0-2 years. It addresses the problem of stunting, which is very prevalent in project locations. The project works through cash grants to pregnant women and mothers of children up to 2 years – to increase their purchasing power, to improve the food outlay and consumption of balanced diet at the critical periods to stop stunting in children. The role of NPTA - TFDC in this project is conducting evaluation, using FGD, KII in the beneficiary communities.

- Increased knowledge of what constitutes balanced diet among community members;
- Increased purchasing power and consumption of foods with higher nutrition value;

- Investment by women as a form of sustainability plan;
- Family relations enhanced between husbands and spouses in beneficiary households.
